The Journal of Belizean Research (JoBR) invites submissions to Vol. 5 Issue 1 for publication in February 2027.

The Journal of Belizean Research (JoBR) is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal published by the University of Belize. Its aim is to advance knowledge and contribute to the national development of Belize by publishing, disseminating, certifying, and preserving original research conducted in or about Belize.

Through JoBR, the University of Belize supports its institutional commitment to excellence in higher education, research, and service for national development. The journal also provides a national platform through which researchers can communicate findings of academic, scientific, social, cultural, educational, technological, and policy relevance to Belize. JoBR welcomes papers from across all academic fields with journal sections dedicated to:

  • Health, Natural Sciences, and Technology

  • Management and Social Science

  • Education and Humanities
